Terms of service

Build note, remove before launch: this page is a working draft, not reviewed by a lawyer. Have it read by an Ontario legal adviser before go-live — especially the cancellation, damage and liability wording.

Booking and confirmation

A booking made through this website is a request. It becomes a booking when we confirm it, which we aim to do within one business day. We'll confirm the date, an arrival window and the price.

Prices

The price we quote is before HST and includes supplies, equipment and travel inside our service area. The price we confirm is the price we charge. If we get to your home and the job is materially different from what was described — a much larger home, or a level of work well beyond a standard clean — we will stop and agree a new price with you before continuing. We will not add a charge afterwards that you didn't agree to.

Paying

Credit card, debit card, or automatic recurring payment. First cleans may be paid after the visit. Recurring clients are charged on the day of each clean unless agreed otherwise. Card details are held by our payment processor.

Changing or cancelling

Give us 24 hours' notice and there is no charge for changing or skipping a visit. Inside 24 hours, or if we arrive and cannot get in, we may charge for the visit — the day is already committed. Do talk to us; we're not looking to catch anyone out.

There is no minimum term on recurring cleans. Tell us you'd like to stop and we stop.

Our guarantee

If you're not happy with a clean, tell us within 24 hours of the visit and we'll come back and re-clean the areas concerned at no charge. This is our remedy for an unsatisfactory clean, and it doesn't affect your rights under Ontario consumer protection law.

Access

You'll give us a safe way in on the agreed day. If you provide a key or code, see the privacy policy for how it's stored.

Breakages and damage

We're insured and bonded. If we break something, we'll tell you before we leave — we won't let you find it. Report any damage within 48 hours of the visit and we'll repair, replace or compensate. We ask that genuinely irreplaceable or high-value items be put somewhere we won't be cleaning.

What we don't do

Exterior windows above ground floor, carpet shampooing or steam cleaning, pest treatment, biohazard cleaning, moving heavy furniture, or anything requiring a ladder taller than a step stool.

Health and safety

Our teams can decline to work in conditions that are unsafe — no running water, no electricity, unrestrained animals that are a risk, or a health hazard in the home. We'll talk to you first and won't charge for a visit we choose to stop.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
